William Thompson Memorial PRIZE
Donated by Allison McNevin
The William Thompson Memorial Prize is donated to the second place finisher in Senior Piano (Grades 9, 10, ARCT).
Mr. Thompson passed away in 2011 after a short battle with cancer. During his life he enjoyed watching his daughter Ellen Thompson and other participants in the Rotary Music Festival. Bill realize how much work involved for the students to reach Grades 9 to ARCT and wanted to encourage the second place finishers to continue their hard work and not to be discouraged by placing second.
